Circulation
New Waverly Public Library requires that patrons must show a valid government-issued photo ID, along with a second proof of address, to open a library account. Children are encouraged to have their own library number, but they must be accompanied by a guardian/parent with the required ID to fill out and sign all necessary paperwork. Books, Wi-Fi hotspots, and DVDs are available for patrons to check out. We also have free internet within the building. Copies and print-outs are .20 cents a page. Faxes are $1.00 to send and .50 cents to receive. Scans are $1.00 per page, plus an additional $1.00 to email the documents.

Our Collection
The New Waverly Public Library tries very hard to order the books you want and love! If there is a book we do not have but you would like to check out, please call or visit us in person to fill out a request form. We also take book donations. Thank you in advance!
Community Room
We have a spacious community room with kitchen facilities that is available for reservation! To secure the rental, interested parties must come into the library to fill out rental agreement paperwork and pay for the hours requested. A cleaning deposit is required before keys are issued. Renters are also responsible for completing a facility walk-through to discuss cleaning duties before keys are issued. Community room reservation fees are $100 per hour (or $50.00 per hour for non-profits) and a $150 cleaning deposit. If the room is NOT cleaned and left in its original condition, the deposit will be forfeited. New Waverly Public Library only accepts cash or checks for payment of any library services. The Community Room can be rented during the following hours: Monday-Friday (11 am-8 pm) and Saturday-Sunday (8 am-10 pm). (Changes to rental rate were voted on and adopted by the Board of Directors on June 8, 2023)
